Vietnamese because I worked with Vietnamese refugees in the UK formally and informally for a number of years back in the 1980s and 1990s. I am still in touch with a number of families both in UK and abroad, but the small amount of Vietnamese I learned by interacting with the people has practically disappeared. In any case a programme like this did not exist at that time.

Persian... I would like to have available, a virtual class for very new Persian students. I would like to learn to speak, read and write the way a young student learns.

This class should be inexpensive, as current classes of this type cost WAY too much. The course should have “live” sessions and at least 2 skill levels. The class size should be limited to 15 students.

4 classes a day x 15 students a class x 5 days a week x 4 weeks a month x $5 per class per student = $6000 per month x 50 weeks = $120,000 per year. Or $75 per class of 15 students. The instructor could build a class size to suit them. And the average student could afford to attend.

I don’t know how hard it would be to keep these classes filled.

Working thru Persian for now. Would be interested in learning Dari in the future.
